Abstract
The Effect of Cloud Computing in Developing the Skills of Using Google's Educational Applications and Critical Thinking Amongst Mut'ah University Students
Abstract
The study aimed at recognizing the impact of cloud computing on the development of the skills of using Google educational applications and critical thinking among the students of the course of internet applications in education at Mutah University. The study sample consisted of an experimental group of (22) students who learned using cloud computing. And a control group of (22) students learned by the traditional method. The semi- experimental approach was used, data was collected by a note card, and a scale of critical thinking. Results showed statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) in the students' performance on the observation card in favor of the experimental group. There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups on the critical thinking scale. In light of this, the study recommends using cloud computing in university teaching for its role in developing the skills of using Internet applications.
