Abstract


تهدف الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على شخصية ابن كثير (ت774هـ/1371م)، حياته وأسرته وعصره وشيوخه وتلاميذه مع الإشارة إلى الغزو الخارجي للعالم الإسلامي فقد تعرض العالم الإسلامي للغزوين الصليبي والمغولي.
وتضمن بيان العلماء الذين تتلمذ عليهم ونهل من علومهم، وبيان مشاركته في الحركة العلمية وانتشار المدارس في عصره ودورها في صقل شخصيته لكثرة ما التقى بالعلماء والشيوخ وأخذ عنهم فكان يعطي رأيه ويشير إلى مصداقية الروايات ويعتمد أسلوب الجرح والتعديل في بيان صحة الخبر التاريخي.

Ibn Katheer and his Methodology in the Book Albidaayah wa Alnihaayah

Abstract
The study aims to shed ligt on the personality of Ibn Kathir (177M/1371H), his lif, his family, his era, his elders, and his students, with refrence to the external invasion on the islamic world, which was subjected to the Crusader and Mongol invasions.
It included the statement of the scholars who he studied with and learned from their sciences and a statement of his participation in the scientific movement and the spread of schools in his era, in addition to their role in refining his personality due to the large number of scholars and elders he met with and he took from them, so he used to give his opinions and indicate the credibility of the narrations and to adopt the method of verifying the validity of historical statements through checking the reliability of narrators.
