Abstract

The Impact of An Educational Software By Using The 3D MAX Program On Developing Reading Skills Among Kindergarten Students In The Southern Ghor

The study aimed to demonstrate the impact of an educational software by using (3D MAX) program on developing reading skills among kindergarten students in the southern Ghor. The study was applied during the second semester of the academic year 2017/2018. The study sample consisted of (85) male and female students, distributed among two groups in two schools of mixed primary schools. The experimental group comprised (18) male students and (22) female students, the alphabet letters was studied within two units (vegetarian, watery) from the interactive national curriculum for kindergarten by using the educational computerized program (3D MAX). The control group comprised (20) male students and (23) female students , and the same educational subject was studied in the usual way. To achieve the purposes of the study; the researcher designed the educational material according to (3D MAX) program and used an achievement test for reading skills. The results of the study showed the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in developing reading skills among kindergarten students attributed to the benefit of the experimental group, and the absence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) attributed to the gender variable. The study recommends that teachers should use technology in the process of teaching and also for the other subjects, due to its importance and its beneficial results.
