Abstract
Cognitive Outcome Paralympic Sport Among the Students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Mutah University
This study aimed at indentifying the cognitive outcome among the students of the faculty of sports sciences about descriptive analytical approach due to its compatibility to the study objectives. In order to achieve the goals of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire as a tool for data collection. Around 25% of the study population were chosen as a sample for the study. The sample consisted of 128 male and female students majoring in physical eduction and 75 male and female students majoring in sports rehabilitation.
Results showed that the level of cognitive outcome among the students was acceptable and that there are statistically significant differences between the means of cognitive outcome among the students of the faculty of sports sciences at Mu'tah univerisyt about paralympics sport due to the variable of gender in favor of males. The result showed that there are statistically significant differenes in cognitive outcome about paralympics among the students of the faculty of sports sciences due to the variable of academic year in favor of the fourth academic years. As for the differnces in cogitive outcome about paralymipcs among the students of the faculty of sports sciences due the variable of academic specailty ( Physical education, sports rehabilitation), the differences were in favor of sports rehabilitation. The study recommended the necessity of making an amendment to the academic plans in order to add courses realted to the sports of disabled and to educate school students about the disabled sprots.
