ملخص

هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى دور مراكز اللياقة البدنية في إشباع الحاجات الاجتماعية والصحية والنفسية للمرأة في محافظة إربد من وجهة نظرهن، ومعرفة الفروق تبعاً لمتغيرات (الحالة الاجتماعية، المؤهل العلمي). استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي بأسلوب الدراسات المسحية، والاستبانة كوسيلة لجمع البيانات، والتي تكونت من (31) فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة مجالات هي: (المجال الاجتماعي، والمجال الصحي، والمجال النفسي)، حيث طبقت الدراسة على عينة عشوائية بلغت (247) سيدة وفتاة من المشتركات في مراكز اللياقة البدنية في محافظة إربد. أظهرت النتائج أن لمراكز اللياقة البدنية النسوية دوراً هاماً في إشباع الحاجات الاجتماعية والصحية والنفسية للمرأة، وبدرجة تقييم مرتفعة في كل مجال والأداة ككل، حيث جاء بالمرتبة الأولى المجال النفسي، وبالمرتبة الثانية جاء المجال الصحي، وجاء بالمرتبة الثالثة والأخيرة المجال الاجتماعي، وكشفت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في استجابات أفراد العينة حول دور مراكز اللياقة البدنية في إشباع الحاجات الاجتماعية والصحية والنفسية للمرأة تبعاً لاختلاف متغيري الحالة الاجتماعية والمؤهل العلمي. أوصت الدراسة بتشجيع المرأة على ممارسة الأنشطة الرياضية لما لها من تأثير إيجابي على النواحي الاجتماعية والنفسية والصحية.

The Role of Women Physical Fitness Centers at Irbid Governorate in Satisfying Social, Mental, and Health needs from Participants' Perspective

Abstract

 This study aimed to explore the role of women physical fitness centers in Irbid Governorate in satisfying social, mental, and health needs from the participants’ point of view, and to examine the differences according to the variables of social state and academic qualifications. The survey was used as a tool for this study. A questionnaire was used as a method for data collection. The questionnaire consisted of (31) items distributed on three domains (social, health, and mental domain). To achieve the purposes of this study, (247) women who regularly go to the gym in Irbid governorate were selected randomly. Results showed a big role of gyms in health, social, and mental satisfaction. An overall ranking was high in all domains and they were ranked as the following: 1) mental domain, 2) health domain, 3) social domain. Results revealed no significant differences according to social state and academic qualification. The study recommended encouraging women in participating physical activities in the physical fitness centres due to its positive effect on health, social, and mental satisfaction.
